It was hard to describe exactly how happy I was when I brought my computer home from the store. I set it up and was so shocked at how quickly it ran in comparison with the old computer that was now on its way out of my home. As a matter of fact, I sat there opening and closing programs just because the computer was a responsive.

The following day, I was surfing the Internet as I often do and I decided that I would download a new screensaver so that I could enjoy my new computer even more. What I didn’t realize is that the screensaver had some spyware attached to it and I was about to ruin my new computer, at least for a little while. The real problems began whenever this spyware caused a breach on my computer and allowed a number of other rogue programs to enter. It wasn’t long before my computer began to slow down and I had so many pop up windows that couldn’t even see the screen underneath.

Something else occurred which was really disconcerting and that is the fact that a virus came in through the loophole and infected my computer as well. I had installed several programs which I needed to run for work and some of those files became corrupted, disallowing the programs to open at all. I was ready to send the computer back and have them clean it off completely but I decided to download some anti-spyware first.

There were a number of different choices that I had whenever he came to that type of anti-spyware that I was going to use. After reading some of the online reviews, I finally decided that I was going to use a program that was called spyware cease. This program was able to quickly get my computer back into working order and it took care of all of the spyware that have been downloaded to my computer.

I came to a realization after the spyware was gone of exactly how dangerous it can be to have these programs running on your computer. I thought that they were just a nuisance and didn’t realize that they actually sat on your computer and spied on absolutely everything that you did. Fortunately, I didn’t use my computer during the time that I had the spyware to type in any passwords or bank account information.

There is never a time when I don’t run anti-spyware programs on my computer any longer. I use spyware cease on a never-ending basis and make sure that I keep it updated with the new programs as they come out. One of the reasons why I like this program so much is because it runs in the background and makes sure that my computer does not have any more problems as a result of new spyware coming in. As long as spyware is a problem, I will continue to use spyware cease.
