What To Do When Your Canon Printer Needs New Ink

Is it time to buy a new ink cartridge? I know you want to find a cheap ink cartridge when you buy your refill. This is what you should do to make your ink replacement painfree and simple.

1. You should figure out exactly which printer you own so you know the proper replacement ink you need and the place place to buy a cheap ink cartridge. One size does NOT fit all when it comes to printer ink. HP and Canon printer ink come in very different packages.. The exact type of printer that you have should be printed clearly on it. For example, I own a Canon MX310.

2.Ascertain the best method of opening up and removing the ink cartridges. The cartridge loading bay is usually opened by some sort of switch or button on the printer.Checking the owner’s manual is also a possibility. If you threw the owner’s manual away, you can just go online and find a .pdf version of it. For example, I would search for ‘Canon MX310 manual’ to find a copy of the owner’s manual online and read the section on ejecting the empty print cartridges.

3.Remove the empty cartridge or cartridges. If the black ink is out, the color cartridge may still be good, so make sure which ones you have to replace. Sometimes there’s loose ink that could stain your hands, so watch out for that.

4.Make sure you secure a trusted vendor of replacement cheap ink cartridges. You can get them in office supply stores or online or direct from the manufacturer, although they usually cost a bit more this way. I have a good source linked below for a really website online to buy cheap ink cartridges-they’ve never let me down! J

5.Once the ink catrdiges arrive in the mail, you can remove the packaging and take the first piece of adhesive off the ink container. Make sure they face the right direction and slide them into the old cartridges’ place. It should go in with little resistance and make a soft clicking noise when it’s properly engaged. Your printer or manual may have instructions or pictures on how to do this properly.

5.The last step is to run a sample page to make sure the replacement cheap ink cartridges are functioning properly. The printer may print this page without your prompting.

Congratulations! You’re pretty much done at this point with changing out the used-up catridge and installing a new cheap ink cartridge. Oh yeah, that’s the site I wanted you to look at in the link above
