Using Farmville Hay Bales To Improve Farming Efficiency
Commonsense dictates that, in Farmville, smaller farms and smaller fields require less time from players to plow, plant, and harvest crops. This also means that it’s easier overall.
But as you expand your farm, plowing more land to plant more crops, you might run into a problem. And that problem is the fact that it can take you a very long time to do those things when you have a very large field.
It can be agonizing watching your Farmville avatar walking slowly from plot to plot, taking his or her time in plowing the land. And then when the plowing is all done, you have to repeat the process in order to plant your crops!
Some people might enjoy this slow process. They might like being able to sit back, hand on the mouse, and watch their Farmville avatar plant and plow. However, this probably isn’t true for everyone.
A lot of people have only a limited time to play Farmville. They might be doing it just before going to school or work, in between college classes or on breaks at work. These people might want to get the most amount of work done in the smallest amount of time possible, but that gets harder as their farms grow larger.
The main problem is that because the farm is larger, it takes longer for the avatar to walk around it. By the time you’re done clicking, your character might even be halfway done, if even that. There is an answer to this problem, fortunately. It’s a secret method that allows you to plow, plant, and harvest while keeping your avatar completely stationary.
How does it work? When you first log in to Farmville, don’t do anything, and especially don’t move your avatar. Instead, purchase and place hay bales all around the starting position of your avatar. It might sound a little weird, but just do it. Now try plowing, planting or harvesting. Notice anything different? Your avatar doesn’t move, but you still get the work done!
Whether this was a mistake by Farmville’s developers is hard to tell, but either way it makes things a whole lot easier for you. The time it takes you to get all your farming done is probably cut in half because watching your farmer walk back-and-forth across your fields is now a thing of the past.
It’s a very straight-forward and easy technique, but using it will have a great positive impact on your Farmville playing. It will allow you to do a lot more farming in a lot less time, so what do you have to lose? Get out there and give it a shot!
