Best Fitness Apps for Fitness Enthusiasts

More importantly, are you taking full advantage of the power in your hands?

This decade has seen a huge shift in how we interact with each other. Thanks to the innovative nature of companies such as Apple and Google, the boom of the smartphone industry has changed not only the way we communicate, but also the way we do things. It seems as though everything is at the touch of a button now.

For those who own a smartphone, it’s obvious that the best part of owning one is using the thousands of incredible apps that have been developed. With the brilliant-minded developers out there, we are blessed with thousands of music apps, entertainment apps, productivity apps, fitness apps and even banking apps. They all make our lives a little bit simpler.

There is no doubt that this is powerful technology. But the billion dollar question is whether we are taking advantage of it in the right way.

Being the fitness nut that I am, I’ll give you an example. Even though some of the best fitness apps have been in existence for years, there are very few people who know about them, let alone use them. Some of my favorite apps are the Run Keeper Pro and Interval Timer Pro – they both let me keep track of my workouts so I always have statistics to look back on.

My favorite mobile fitness app by far is called the Fitness Pro app and you can find it for free on the app market. This app has an enormous database of workouts and exercises that will help keep your routines fresh. It helps you customize your workouts or allows you to choose one of their preset routines. I use this app extensively for new training ideas.

Remember that these are all free mobile apps that you can grab for yourself. There is no excuse for not taking advantage of this powerful stuff.

I’ll be honest, it’s not easy to scoop out the top health and fitness applications on the market. I want to help you out a bit by giving you a heads-up on some the best fitness apps you can get for free.
