Best Active Noise Control
Noise cancelling headsets, headphones and handsets you see in many stores or on online shopping websites use the active noise control tehcnology.
In this article, we will discuss a little background about the system behind active noise control or how it works. We will also get to know some equipment or device which uses active noise control or noise-cancelling feature.
First of all, what is the benefit or the purpose of having active noise control? Active noise control or anti noise is a technology used to minimize noise from the background when we are talking to somebody on the phone. They sometimes call it DECT technology. Those phones that have DECT technology on the details of their product means that they are using active noise control. Because of this feature, we can hear somebody on the other line of the phone clearly even when the person we are talking to is in the a very loud bar.
On the other hand, some industries most especially call center industries uses this technology to make sure that customers will be able to hear them clearly on the phone. This will enhance the phone and the business as well. People who travels and works while on the go use phones with this feature.
How does active noise control work? Active noise control involves electro-acoustic generation of sound field according to a book of Colin N. Hansen who used electronics and mechanics in explaining active noise control. However, this is a more complex way of explaining it. In layman’s term, active noise control means cancelling, eliminating or minimizing the unwanted sound. Another way of saying this is that active noise control enhances the primary source of sound.
Finally, Colin N. Hansen mentioned his own forecast on where else active noise control technology will be used in the future.
