The Big Squeeze: Boyle works in a bar to aid her injured ballplayer spouse Bercovici but then come to see that he’s neglected to notify her of a $130,000 settlement he’s acquired, so she enlists the services of a drifter-hustler (Dobson) to get the money. Cast includes Lara Flynn Boyle, Peter Dobson, Danny Nucci, Luca Bercovici, Teresa Despina, and Michael Chieffo. (98 minutes, 1996)

The Accidental Tourist: This movie tells the story of Macon Leary, who is listless after the death of his son. This is compounded further when his wife decides to leave him because he won’t snap out of it. With a divorce pending he finds himself involved with a new woman, who is helping bring him back to life. Now his wife decides to have him back, and he is faced with more tough questions. William Hurt, Kathleen Turner, Geena Davis, Amy Wright, and Bill Pullman star. (1988 Drama)

Jackie Chan’s Who Am I: Chan is part of a secret armed forces team sent on a lethal mission. He loses his memory, and can’t figure out why people are after him. This is an action film with very little else to it. Cast includes Jackie Chan, Michelle Ferre, Mirai Yarnarnoto, Ron Smerczak, Ed Nelson, and Tom Pompert. (108 minutes, 1998)

Alfie: Well redone rendition of Bill Naughton play he additionally inscribed. Caine is marvelous as philandering Cockney playboy who is put in a very tough situation. Cast includes Michael Caine, Shelley Winters, Millicent Marin, Julia Foster, Jane Asher, Shirley Anne Field, Graham Stark, and Murray Melvin. (114 minutes, 1966)

Night of the Grizzly: Tolerable Western of rancher Stroller conquering all the dangers of Western life, even a very nasty bear. Cast includes Joseph Pevney, Clint Stroller, Martha Hyer, Keenan Wynn, Nancy Kulp, Ron Ely, Regis Toomey, and Jack Ela. (102 minutes, 1966)

The Great Race: Long, occasionally ludicrous, often labored comedy, not the best ever made as promoted. Fight pattern and barroom fight are highlights, although the pie scene falls flat, and other gimmicks don’t work. This is absolutely a mixed bag, some parts good and some bad. Cast includes Tony Curtis, Natalie Wood, Jack Lemmon, Peter Falk, Keenan Wynn, Larry Storch, and George Macready. (150 minutes, 1965)

Cry of The Penguins: Will a womanizing youthful biologist find real cheerfulness and redemption amid an Antarctic colony of penguins? Do you care? Famed documentary filmmaker Amy Dorff shot the intriguing however atrocious scenes of life and mortality amid a penguin colony. Cast includes John Hurt, Harvey Factories, Dudley Sutton, Tony Britton, Thorny Walters, and Judy Campbell. (101 minutes, 1971)

Diner: Complications of growing up are pleasantly harmonized by author-director Levinson in this look at a group of buddies who hang out in a Baltimore diner in the 1950s. Evidently made with care and attention to detail; a genuine sleeper. (97 minutes, 1961)
